What you can expect

Just Retirement Solutions Limited is committed to giving all our customers the best quality advice on equity release.  All our customers can choose to speak to their adviser either face-to-face or over the phone. The whole process can take some time and we encourage you to move at a pace which you are comfortable with.

Considerations

Before you take advice it is helpful to consider some of the following:

  • Gain some idea of how much money you require and when you might need it.
  • As equity release is a lifelong commitment we recommend you involve your family in the decision making process because releasing money from the home will affect the amount that you will be able to leave them when you die.
  • There are a variety of options for people who are looking to raise money from their home and it is important to consider all the options before deciding if equity release is the best one.

Next steps

  1. Call us on 0800 015 0993 (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm) and one of our team will discuss your circumstances, review your eligibility, and, if appropriate, arrange an appointment with one of our advisers.

  2. Your adviser will meet you to discuss your goals and requirements, helping you to consider all the options, look at alternatives and answer your questions.

  3. A second meeting will include your adviser providing a personalised report incorporating a recommendation and the costs/risks involved, so you can be comfortable that equity release is right for you - if it isn't we will say so.

  4. Once you are ready to proceed we help you complete the application form and send it on to your chosen provider.

  5. The provider will then arrange a valuation of your property and issue you an offer - once the paperwork is completed the funds are released to you.

Advice is with no obligation and an administration fee of £749 will only be charged if you take out a plan.

Equity Release may involve a lifetime mortgage or home reversion plan. To understand the features and risks, please ask for a personalised illustration.
