A power of attorney is a legal document you can use to give another person(s) the power to take decisions with regard to your financial affairs, health and personal welfare, should you ever become unable to manage your own affairs.
There are differences between powers of attorney in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland including different terminology.
