We specialise in enhanced annuities; they are based specifically on any health or lifestyle conditions you may have, which means we can offer higher rates compared to standard annuity providers. Qualifying for an enhanced annuity could mean an increase in your retirement income. The amount you could receive depends on the specific health or lifestyle condition(s) you have.
As the UK’s leading provider of enhanced annuities (ABI, Q4 2012), we have helped tens of thousands of customers improve their income in retirement.
A broad range of health and lifestyle conditions could qualify. Just Retirement has provided enhanced annuities based on over 1,500 different medical and lifestyle conditions, either alone or in combination.
Lifestyle factors such as smoking and drinking, or relatively mild health conditions such as high cholesterol may qualify as well as more severe conditions such as certain cancers and types of heart disease.
Compared to the lowest standard annuity, this could mean potential increases of around 20%1 for minor conditions, around 30%2 for moderate conditions and around 40%3 (sometimes even higher) for serious medical conditions.*
