You should always assume that your client will qualify for an enhancement to their annuity unless, by asking more questions, you can find out otherwise. We encourage all IFAs to dig a little deeper, ask the right questions and give all your clients the best posiible opportunity to improve their retirement income.

Some of your clients may not, on the face of it, be ill. However, it's important to consider their past medical history as well as current state of health. Often conditions which can be deemed 'minor' or which a client has suffered years ago can be overlooked but are important in delivering a better annuity income.
