- In the Financial Adviser Service Awards we are voted the highest ‘5 star’ accolade in the Life and Pensions category for the eighth year in a row and in the Mortgage Lenders and Packagers category (for equity release) for a fifth successive year.
- Ranked 40 in the Sunday Times' Top 100 'best companies to work for' 2012
- Over 128,000 people have become our customers since we launched in 2004
- One of the largest providers of equity release in the UK (we have lent £1.1 billion in equity release since 2005)

- In 2011 we were the largest provider of enhanced annuities in the UK, and the fourth largest provider of all types of annuities
- We are the first provider to introduce a Fixed Term Annuity with an optional conversion feature to both an enhanced annuity and the Open Market Option
- In the Financial Adviser Service Awards we are voted the highest ‘5 star’ accolade in the Life and Pensions category for the seventh year in a row and in the Mortgage Lenders and Packagers category (for equity release) for a fourth successive year. They also award us Company of the Year.

- Our annual revenue grows to over £1 billion
- In the Financial Adviser Service Awards we are voted the highest ‘5 star’ accolade in the Life and Pensions category for the sixth year in a row and in the Mortgage Lenders and Packagers category (for equity release) for a third successive year
- We acquire The Open Market Annuity Service, or TOMAS, a business focused on helping people to make the most of their pensions savings by providing systems and services to companies that help them improve the way they deal with annuities.
- In the adviser market, our 'Majority' campaign promotes innovative research showing that 60% of cases could qualify for an enhanced annuity through health and lifestyle conditions
- We are growing and now we have over 500 staff working from our base in Reigate, Surrey
- Our annual customer magazine launches

- In the Financial Adviser Service Awards we are named both the ‘Company of the Year’ and voted ‘5 star’ accolades in the Life and Pensions category for the fifth year in a row and the Mortgage Lenders and Packagers category for the second year in a row
- In November 2009, Avalon Acquisitions Limited, backed by funds advised by Permira Advisers LLP, become the majority owner of Just Retirement (Holdings) Limited and the company is de-listed from the Alternative Investment Market (AIM)
- We help launch ORIGO Options – reducing the time taken by providers to process annuities
